Ruby Crescent is not what you would call an ordinary girl. She's a treasure hunter, but more specifically, an O-Part Hunter. O-Parts are relics left behind from ancient civilizations that hold powers of various degrees. However, only select few individuals, referred to as O-Part Tacticians (OPTs), are capable of using them.
Very early into her journey to collect the Legendary O-Parts, she is saved by a boy with black and white hair. His name is Jio Freed, and as it turns out he is an OPT. Joining her as her "bodyguard", the two go on an adventure of colossal proportions.
