The game developer Level5 revealed on Wednesday that the animated film version of its Professor Layton mystery games will be titled Professor Layton: The First Movie and will open in Japan in January 2010. In the original games, the archeologist Layton and his trusty assistant Luke solve mysteries in a fantasy setting through a series of puzzles.
