FUNimation Acquires 'High School DxD'

FUNimation has announced that they have acquired the broadcast, home video, merchandising, and streaming rights to the anime series High School DxD.

High School DxD will begin streaming on January 23rd with new episodes to appear each Monday. The series will also be released on DVD and Blu-ray, though no release date has been announced yet.

High School DxD follows Issei Hyōdō, a perverted second-year in high school who is killed by a girl on his very first date. Once he's reborn as a devil, he is forced to follow Riasu, a high-level devil who just happens to be the prettiest girl on his campus.
