Sentai Filmworks Acquires 'The Book of Bantorra'

Sentai Filmworks has announced that they have acquired the rights to the anime series, The Book of Bantorra.

The series will be available digitally through multiple outlets and will be released on DVD later this year.

The Book of Bantorra, based on a series of light novels written by Ishio Yamagata with illustrations by Shigeki Maeshima, is set in an alternate world where if someone dies, their soul doesn't go to heaven or hell, but becomes a book. The book will reveal the person's secrets and can be read by anyone, which requires someone to to protect these special books from those who would misuse or destroy them.
