Two AKB48 Members to Voice Act in 'Marimo no Hana' Film

AKB48 members Yuki Kashiwagi and Sae Miyazawa will be taking to voice acting in the upcoming film, Marimo no Hana ~Saikyo Buto Shogakusei Densetsu~.

Kashiwagi will be providing the voice of Marimo, the protagonist, with Miyazawa to portray Masaru, Marimo's childhood friend. The original manga, follows Marimo, a quiet girl in elementary school who later gains the strength to fight delinquents. The original manga was created by AKB48 producers Akimoto Yasushi and Kasumi Yuko for Ribbon magazine.

The film will be screened at the free event tour, Ribbon Festa 2012. Stops included are in Miyagi on March 18th, Osaka on March 24th-25th, Yokohama on March 31st and April 1st, and Nagoya on April 8th. The event will also include a talk session and autograph panel with several popular artists.
