The Tiger & Bunny staff announced at the Hero Awards 2011 that the productions of two films have been green-lit. The first film has been planned for next year.
The event was held twice, once during the day and once at night. The attendees who went during the day were asked not to reveal the announcement until the end of the second event.
The Hero Awards 2011 event will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on April 20th. This was the first phase of the Tiger & Bunny "next project," with two films as the second phase.
Tiger & Bunny, set within the futuristic Sternbild City, follows two superheroes: old fashioned Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (Wild Tiger) and Barnaby Brooks Jr (Bunny). Forced to work together, the two must deal with their conflicting opinions on how a superhero should act.
